LeAnne Stefl is a Senior Vice President and Director of Global Client Advocacy for Willis’ Multinational Employee Benefits team.  LeAnne, based in the Washington, DC area, is responsible for the oversight of the service delivery team on a worldwide basis.  The team of Global Account Executives is responsible for providing multinational clients with strategic direction, country analysis and coordination of their benefit programs around the world. 

LeAnne has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry including personal lines and US employee benefits consulting.  LeAnne previously was a Vice President and Sales Leader in the Multinational Employee Benefits practice where she was responsible for developing new business and assisting multinational clients with strategic direction in the following areas:

• Developing global benefits strategy and philosophy
• Providing global governance oversight
• Performing benefit audits of existing programs
• Conducting mergers and acquisition analysis
• Developing strategic financial models to help control benefits spend, including multinational pooling options

Prior to joining the Multinational Employee Benefits team, LeAnne worked for Willis’ US Employee Benefits practice as an Account Executive/Producer.  Her primary responsibilities included strategic design and implementation of US and global benefit programs, mergers and acquisition analysis and sales.

Before joining Willis, LeAnne was with another competitor in the San Diego, CA and Washington, DC offices where she was a Senior Consultant and Team Leader focused on consulting with medium and large clients regarding their benefit programs (U.S. and global).  Prior to that, LeAnne worked for a large multinational government contractor and a biotechnology research firm.  Her major responsibilities consisted of the full administration of the benefit programs, payroll, tax and visa issues for foreign nationals, multiple accounting functions, grant allocations and the administration of the retirement program.

LeAnne earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a Professional Certificate in Accounting from the University of California in La Jolla, CA.  She holds a certificate in Global Benefits Management from the International Foundation of Employee Benefits Plans.
